Contains a brass trophy with inscription, "In appreciation of the faithful services and devotion in the erection of the Hebrew Educational Institute - The Building Fund Council presents this token of esteem to Ald. Max Seigler on the occasion of its dedication, Montreal, May 31st, 1931." Max Seigler was the municipal counsellor of Laurier.
