Since 1914, the Jewish Public Library Archives’ mandate has been to collect, preserve, and make available original documents, photographs and recordings that tell the social, economic, and cultural stories of Montreal’s Jewish communities.

Reference Services
The Jewish Public Library Archives is pleased to offer reference and research services to the public, whether in-person, by e-mail, or telephone. Please note that appointments must be scheduled ahead of time. Research appointments can be scheduled here.

Searching the Catalogue
The Archives is currently migrating its catalogue to this platform, AtoM. It is a work in progress. To research the Archives' catalogue, it is currently available in part on the CJHN. Tips to search can be found here.
