Contains photographs of family events, weddings, gatherings, and trips taken around the 1940s and 1950s. Names that emerge on the inscriptions include Anna, Sonia, and Linda; some photographs were taken in Tulchyn, Ukraine. A couple of inscribed envelopes or frames accompany some photographs.
The fonds contains official documents pertaining to the family life and immigration (mostly from Tulchyn, Ukraine and Russia to the United States and Canada) of several people, including Uscher Meller, Lily Young, Hyman Bench, Max Cartman, Fanny Raisman, Sheina Mamburg, Sonia Mamburg, and the Poch, Isaacovtich, and Pollack families, as well as a number of unidentified people, likely extended family members.
Immigration documents like citizenship and naturalization certificates attest to the passage of several families; the photographs include mostly solo and group family portraits, as well as wedding portraits from the 1910s to 1920s, and some more candid group photographs, likely from the 1950s.
