The fonds contains documentation, professional and working materials of Rita Briansky's many projects and works. The fonds consists of textual records, including correspondence, selections of the artist's writing; graphic material, including sketchbooks and photographic documentation of her work; audio recordings of Rita Briansky's interviews and reviews; newspaper clippings, bibliographic reference publications and articles citing the artist's work. In addition to textual material, the Rita Briansky Fonds includes 54 sketchbooks, 255 etchings, 1701 photographs, and 3 audio cassettes.

Galleries, exhibition sites, and organizations include the Musée des beaux-arts (Montreal Museum of Fine Arts), the Burnaby Art Society, the Canadian Society of Graphic Art, the Jewish Public Library, Hadassah, Davidson Galleries, Vancouver Art Gallery, Artlenders, Unicef, National Library of Canada, West End Art Gallery, Cal-Graphics, and the Society of Canadian Painter-Etchers and Engravers.

The files contains exhibition brochures and catalogues featuring Briansky from 1944 to 1964, mostly located in Quebec. Galleries, exhibition sites, and organizations include the Musée des beaux-arts (Montreal Museum of Fine Arts), the Canadian Society of Graphic Art, Hadassah, and the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts. Also includes several pamphlets from the Canadian Printer-Etchers and Engravers exhibitions.

Contains correspondence with the Musée des beaux-arts (mostly pertaining to a Gallery XII exhibition) from 1957 to 1963, as well as several pamphlets for the exhibition, an invitation, and a newspaper clipping.
