Fonds consists of three series: literary work, biographical materials and correspondence. The latter being the most significant section of the fonds, arranged alphabetically by author and consisting mainly of in-coming correspondence to Maze.

Grossman, Jacob, 1899-1982The fonds contains records pertaining to the life of Joseph Rogel, including his literary output (manuscripts, poetry, essays and translation), as well as incoming and outgoing correspondences. It also contains audio interviews.
Rogel, Joseph, 1911-1990Contains documents related to the life and career of Leib Tencer, including his involvement with JPPS/Bialik, the J.I. Segal Fund, and McGill University.
Tencer, Leib, 1910-The fonds contains records related to Moshe Shaffir's career as a productive writer of poetry and essays, with many of his own publications and newspaper clippings present in the fonds. The fonds also contains correspondence, newspaper clippings, manuscripts and ephemera related to the Jewish Public Library, the Association of Bukovina Jews, and other local and global Jewish organizations and Yiddish institutions, all attesting to Shaffir's involvement in the Montreal Jewish community and Yiddish community in the United States, Israel, and Europe. Additionally, letters and newspaper clippings show Shaffir's personal interest in Soviet writers who emigrated to Israel.

Anctil, Pierre, 1952-The papers represent the scope of Brainin’s life endeavours as writer, editor, biographer, critic, translator, lecturer, Zionist and one of the founders of the Jewish Public Library. The Fonds is divided into five major series: Literary and editorial activities, Biography and criticism, Correspondence, Special Collections, and the records of the Jewish Public Library Archives Committee.
Brainin, Reuben, 1862-1939The fonds contains records pertaining to Wiseman's career as an educator and writer, with many of his articles on Jewish education and Judaism present in the fonds, as well as his speeches and lectures. The fonds also contains records and documents from events recognizing Wiseman for his work and contributions to the community. The myriad correspondence of well wishes for the Shloime Wiseman Testimonial attest to the recognition of Wiseman's work locally, nationally, and internationally. Additionally, correspondence between Wiseman and Yehuda Kaufman demonstrates their friendship and professional relationship.
