Item is one scroll case and stand made out of silver from the nineteenth Century Turkey or Germany. The case features a Rococo style floral ornamentation on a pointillism ground, with one carved ivory handle. The case was made to house a scroll depicting the story of Esther in classic Sephardic script, with an illustrated water colour border. The paper scroll megillah was a recent addition.
