Biographical history
The Millmans opened a table tennis shop on Fairmount near Park Avenue in 1938 and later converted it into a general store with a pinball machine, candies, etc. They resided at the back of the store. It remained open until 1948 when Mr. Millman purchased a taxi. He remained a taxi man for 40 years. The kids who used to gather at the shop grew up and joined the Armed Forces. They wrote letters and in turn received news of the neighborhood from the Millmans.
