Actual photos, and hard copies of photos, are inserted as placeholders for their printed/published counterpart. Some correspondence, notes, photographs, and a clipping of Dr. Illievitz's entry in American Men of Science (all related to the manuscript) can be found loose in the manuscript's pages.
