From note in file, "Isaac Levy 1914 - Jan. 11, 1988, Businessman. Born in the U.S.A. Was active in B'nai Brith since he was a youth. Went to Shanghai in the late 1930's, where he met Vera. Both he and Vera were in the internment camps in Shanghai for a few years, where she looked after him, they got married on: [sic] He came to Montreal in the early 1960's, where he became active in B'nai Brith. Vera Levy: 1909-July 5, 1991. Married Isaac in Shanghai, June 22, 1941 at the Chel Rachel Synagogue. Came to Mtl. - early 1960's. In Shanghai was an entertainer - song and danced [Shanghai Opera Company?]. No children.
