The bulk of the materials in the fonds relate to Yetta Feldman Chmiel's career as a poetry reciter and performer. This takes the form of newspaper clippings--many of which come from Keneder Adler, and most of which are in Yiddish--which detail her performances and contributions, programmes about particular events, and letters of thanks for her contributions from relevant institutions. Many of the events and performances referenced in the materials are associated with Labour Zionism, Pioneer Women's Organization, and the Jewish Public Library. Additionally, playbills, newspaper clippings, and photographs from several plays Feldman Chmiel partook in at the Segal Centre for Performing Arts (then the Saidye Bronfman Centre) are in the fonds.

The majority of the fonds' material is contained within a single scrapbook, but two files of loose textual records--one containing Feldman Chmiel's own poetry, the other containing mostly correspondence and newspaper clippings--can also be found in the fonds.

The fonds consists of manuscript and typescript poems, plays, correspondence and sheet music of Solomon Cohen and clippings on Jewish culture and theatre in Canada. Also consists of handwritten plays, poetry and stories in Yiddish, as well as theater programs, tickets, and newspapers clippings.

It includes of six files of textual records and 8 volumes of bound manuscript in various notebooks and account books, primarily in Yiddish.

Consists of personal documents from the Krishtalka family, correspondence, ephemeral and organizational material from international and Jewish Montreal organizations such as United Jewish People's Order (UJPO), Yidisher Kultur Farband (YKUF) and the Jewish Public Library. Also contains numerous posters and flyers for theatre, arts and musical presentations in Jewish Montreal.

General information about the Saidye Bronfman Theatre, but also specific records about different events that occurred in it and/or were organized by it. There are multiple files about plays with detailed descriptions about the budgets, the scripts and the costumes to name a few. Exhibitions’ explanations are also available to the interest of the public. Festival programs such as Family and Puppet Festival and activities such as Artapalooza are also in the Fonds. Grant proposals, donations by individuals and businesses, overall budgets, renovation information, letters between the centre and other institutions or people related to the centre and its activities, etc.

Collection consists of photocopied typescripts of Novek’s radio plays (originals destroyed) and copies of Progressive Theatre, Northern Review, and Today. Collection also contains biographical information on the Litman, Sack, and Novek families.
