Consists of photographic images, correspondence, and a technical drawing related to the excavation at the Hamta - Emmaus bathhouse.

The excavation of the bathhouse was supported by the Jewish Cultural Association of Montreal and the United Israel Appeal of Canada. During the months of August and September of 1977, the Division of Classical Studies of Tel-Aviv University excavated the bathhouse in the town of Hamta - Emmaus, a typical Tanaic and Amoraitic town.

Consists of photographs of the Hamta - Emmaus bathhouse excavation. Photographs show rooms from the excavated bathhouse, the excavation team, and a Roman watchtower excavated at the same time as the bathhouse. Includes a short typewritten text by Mordechai Gichon, the director of the excavation, explaining the context of the photographs and the excavation. Photographs are accompanied by typewritten captions.
