History
Gan Haim is one of seven agricultural farms in Israel established in the 1920s and 1930s on lands purchased by American and Canadian Jews for the purpose of planting orchards. These farms served as a source of livelihood for the pioneers who recently arrived in Israel and suffered from unemployment.
