Part of Felix Lazarus Fonds
The file contains photocopied research on Jews in China, including a 1489 Chinese inscription at a synagogue, images of the K'ai-feng Synagogue, and a map of China indicating areas with a Jewish presence. Also contains what appear to be panels from an exhibition about Judaism in China, with various paper cut-outs of information (mostly Yiddish, Hebrew) pasted onto black cardstock; on back of each panel are names, possibly of collaborators. Extensive lecture notes (on a rough overview of Judaism, as well as the discovery of Judaism in China at the K'ai-feng Synagogue) are also in the file, in both English and English.
