Abraham Aaron Roback, better known as A.A. Roback, was a prominent psychologist, writer, and Yiddishist. Born June 19, 1890 in Goniondz, Russian Empire (modern-day Poland), his family immigrated to Montreal in 1892. He studied at McGill University, then completed his PhD at Harvard University, where he later taught. He passed away on June 7, 1965 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
