Irene R. Wolff

The fonds contains many manuscripts of articles written by Irene R. Wolff for the Jewish Guardian, the Jewish Daily Eagle (Keneder Adler), and the Jewish Chronicle, which cover subjects like antisemitism in Canada, Jewish women's groups, Jewish education in Quebec and Canada, deaths and inaugurations of prominent figures, and conventions. Correspondence pertaining to her work with the various publications can also be found in the fonds, as well as a book compiled by Irene Wolff's daughter, Rosetta Wolff Elkin, containing passages of Irene Wolff's diary and photocopies of her photographs.

Additionally, a spiral-bound biography of Irene Wolff's life can be found in the fonds.

Roslyn School Hebrew Course Fonds

The fonds consists of four files of documents and four audiocassettes relating to the operation of the Hebrew course at the Roslyn School. Included are the program authorization requests and teaching materials for the course, as well as administrative and enrolment notes from parents and administrators involved in the program. Two of the cassettes are labelled as parts of a "Hebrew 101" course, one is labelled "Erev Shabbat Ritual," and the last is labelled "8A."

Shloime Wiseman Fonds

The fonds contains records pertaining to Wiseman's career as an educator and writer, with many of his articles on Jewish education and Judaism present in the fonds, as well as his speeches and lectures. The fonds also contains records and documents from events recognizing Wiseman for his work and contributions to the community. The myriad correspondence of well wishes for the Shloime Wiseman Testimonial attest to the recognition of Wiseman's work locally, nationally, and internationally. Additionally, correspondence between Wiseman and Yehuda Kaufman demonstrates their friendship and professional relationship.

The fonds primarily contains records pertaining to Una Shecter's teaching career, including her own academic records, diplomas and certifications, and correspondence with and letters of recommendation from Jewish People's Schools and the Protestant School Board. It also contains a number of letters of thanks and well-wishes from Shecter's students, dating back to her English-teaching stint with immigrants at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim. A few personal documents, like medical records and receipts, are also contained in the fonds.
